Don't Say 'Ahh': Withings Thermo Will Still Take Your Temperature

LAS VEGAS—When I was a child, I hated having my temperature taken. But I probably wouldn't have cared—and maybe even thought it was kind of absurd—if the doctor has been using the Withings Thermo.

CES 2022 Bug Art Introduced hither at CES, the Thermo is a Wi-Fi-connected smart thermometer that can accurately read your temperature in two seconds without even needing to go into your oral cavity (or any other orifice, for that matter).

Here's how it works. The Thermo measures your temperature though the temporal artery on the side of your head, which Withings claims provides one of the virtually reliable images of body temperature.
